I've moved back to the States and have moved to Millbrook, NY. I'm keeping busy these days getting moved in, working at IBM, finishing a few papers, and planning a wedding for this September. Cyra and I might be expecting our first puppy before our big day.

I'm back in Greece working to wrap up my research projects as quickly as possible before heading back to the States in the middle of May. I've got my work cut out for me...

Paris has gotten cold over the last month and I've caught a cold too. So with some needed downtime I've decided to update the photos section of my website to include recent vacation photos from Rome. At some point I'll also be adding a few new photos taken by my father while he was out here visiting. My parents had a great time in Paris- so don't hesitate to visit! Also in the headlines, while Cyra was out visiting, we decided to make plans to get married when I return to the states.

I've been living in Paris for about two months now and now that I know my way around I'm eagerly awaiting visitors- if you're planning to come out this way be sure to drop me a note. I'll be updating my photos any day now.

A few big changes have just taken place and I'm now in the process of updating my web site. I'm now on academic leave from IBM. Over the previous weeks I've moved moved from New York to Crete to pursue studies at the FORTH institute, after which I will start work at the ESPCI in Paris.

Autumn arrived quickly enough and now that it's cold outside it's time to update my web site. This summer was a busy one spend swimming in local lakes, then across the Long Island Sound. Biking around locally then getting out for the 5 Borough Bike Tour. There were lots of local hikes and then one up Mt. Marcy. This summer was a good one and I've updated my photos with some of the ones that came out right.

It's summertime out here in New York, and I'm keeping busy making the most of the warm weather. There are two big items on my summer planner at the moment: my sister Christina's wedding and the Swim Across the Sound. The swim is a fund raiser for the cancer treatment program at St. Vincent’s Hospital. If you have a moment, please donate. Thanks!

So I set up a web site last year after finishing graduate school. While it was nice to have an easy to remember internet and e-mail address, my web site was a bit of an eyesore. So now it's time to put up a web site that looks a little less professional, but is easier on the eye and simpler to maintain : ) Hope you all like it.
